Acoustic baffles are the ideal solution for solving reverberation problems in large open spaces with high ceilings such as gymnasiums, churches, and natatoriums. By introducing soft absorption materials into hard reflective environments, reverberant noise energy is reduced creating an improved acoustical environment with lower noise levels and clearer communication. Acoustic baffles are typically constructed with grommets or hardware along the top edge that allows them to be easily hung vertically from the ceiling with suspension cable or ties.
OELEX Acoustic baffles are fabricated from a core of rigid or semi-rigid acoustic fiberglass or soft melamine foam in a variety of facing materials and colors. For architectural applications, baffles can be faced with an acoustically transparent fabric, sailcloth, or Webcore Vinyl. For industrial applications where aesthetics is not an issue, an economical PVC facing is available.
OELEX R-100 Baffles are ideal for applications that require baffles with crisp corners and a finished face. The R-100 baffles are fabricated with a 6-7 PCF rigid fiberglass core with optional chemically hardened edges. They are available in a 1” or 2” thickness with a standard size of 2’ x 4’ with custom sizes up to a maximum of 4’ x 10’.

OELEX SR-200 Baffles are a cost effective solution to reverberation in large spaces. The SR-200 baffle is comprised of a poly-vinyl chloride bag encompassing a sound absorptive fiberglass, with a reinforced edge binding sewn around the entire perimeter of each baffle to prevent any seams from opening which is a common problem with heat-sealed versions. The SR-200 can be supplied as hanging baffles or as longer banners, and are available in white, gray, or black.

OELEX TA-100 are perfect for applications that require various density cores. TA-100 Baffles area available in 1″, 1 1/2″, or 2″ thickness.
