OELEX High NRC Acoustic Ceiling Tiles offer excellent acoustics with customized options to enhance visual aesthetics, while satisfying acoustical requirements. They are the ideal solution for reducing reverberation and improving speech intelligibility in spaces such as call centers, classrooms, or conference rooms. A good acoustic ceiling tile should have a minimum NRC of 0.70. Standard mineral fiber ceiling tiles available at local home improvement stores are rated at 0.60 or below and will not perform as well as a high performance acoustic tile.
OELEX Acoustic Ceiling Tiles are available for standard T-Grid suspended ceilings, or glue on applications with a variety of sizes, colors, edge detail, and facings. Barrier ceiling tiles are also available with a 1 or 2 PSF mass loaded vinyl barrier on one side with a foil backing. Barrier ceiling tiles are used to stop noise transmission between floors, or to stop noise from flanking over walls that are not constructed to the top of the plenum.
OELEX C-100 Acoustic Ceiling Tiles have a 2 mil white pebblegrain and is our most economical tile. OI-100 ceiling tiles are available in 1” or 2” thickness with standard sizes to fit a 2’ x 2’ or 2’ x 4’ lay in ceiling tile grid.
C-100B Barrier Acoustic Ceiling Tiles have a 1# psf foil backed barrier for high STC as well as NRC requirements. C-100 B ceiling Tiles are available in 1 1/8” and 2 1/8” thicknesses.
