By introducing soft absorption materials into hard reflective environments, reverberant noise energy is reduced creating an improved acoustical environment with lower noise levels and clearer communication.
Acoustic baffles are the ideal solution for solving reverberation problems in large open spaces with high ceilings such as gymnasiums, churches, and natatoriums. By introducing soft absorption materials into hard reflective environments, reverberant noise energy is reduced creating an improved acoustical environment with lower noise levels and clearer communication. Acoustic baffles are typically constructed with grommets or hardware along the top edge that allows them to be easily hung vertically from the ceiling with suspension cable or ties.
OELEX Acoustic baffles are fabricated from a core of rigid or semi-rigid acoustic fiberglass or soft melamine foam in a variety of facing materials and colors. For architectural applications, baffles can be faced with acoustically transparent fabric, sailcloth, or Webcore Vinyl. For industrial applications where aesthetics is not an issue, an economical PVC facing is available.
