Acoustical Pipe and Duct Lagging is the best solution for wrapping noisy pipes, ducts, valves and heat exchanges in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications.
Acoustical pipe and duct wrap combines a 1 lb per sq. ft. or optional 2 lb per sq. ft. mass loaded vinyl noise barrier with a scrim reinforced foil facing on one side, and commonly bonded to a 1 inch or 2 inch thick quilted fiberglass decoupler/absorber to improve acoustical performance. The reinforced pipe wrap facing accepts a matching tape for quick and easy installation. The quilted fiberglass decouples the loaded vinyl noise barrier from the noise emitting surface, creating a floating noise barrier to achieve optimum noise reductions.
